Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on SW product development in a Linux distributed environment.
• BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or similar degree.
• Proficient in Java with Spring/Spring Boot, Kafka, and REST APIs.
• Experience leading a small engineering team and guiding tasks.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL and distributed in-memory stores (Ignite/Redis).
• Networking knowledge: sockets, TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP.
• Cloud-native architecture with Azure or AWS and containerized apps.

Responsibilities

• Drive architecture, design, development, and optimization of backend services and distributed systems.
• Develop robust, secure, high-performance APIs and microservices.
• Maintain and enhance backend systems for reliability and performance.
• Test the solution code and contribute to automated test coverage.
• Assist QA with debugging, test planning, and issue resolution.
• Document system architecture, decisions, and root cause analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Leadership may mentor other staff engineers.
