Bluelight is seeking a seasoned DevOps/SRE professional to join our growing team in a dynamic, fast-paced consultancy environment. You will own and optimize cloud infrastructures, automate deployments, and implement robust monitoring and security controls across multi-cloud or cloud-native environments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE, strong AWS expertise, IaC proficiency, and a proactive, ownership-driven approach to delivering reliable services for enterprise

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
• Production experience with Aurora/PostgreSQL multi-AZ, read replicas, and replica lag monitoring.
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Containerization and orchestration with Docker and ECS/Fargate.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Deployment automation with rollback drills and tested rollback paths.
• Observability tooling experience (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch).
• Load testing with tools like k6 and adherence to latency SLOs and error budgets.
• Security-first mindset: vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and hardening practices.
• SOC 2 or similar audit evidence support and client security reviews.
• Incident response, on-call rotations, root-cause analysis.
• Big-system environments and overlap with US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
