Job summary

Global Payments in Mexico seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for ensuring quality across web, mobile, API, and enterprise applications. You will design test strategies, build automated frameworks with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, and drive QA best practices.

You will also perform API testing, integrate tests into CI/CD, and mentor fellow QA profiles, strengthening security and PCI compliance across our payment technology solutions.

Qualifications

• What you'll own: lead QA across web, mobile, API, and enterprise apps.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain test plans and cases.
• Build automated testing frameworks with modern tools.
• Validate functionality through manual and automated testing.
• Perform API and backend testing using Postman, RestAssured, and cURL.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and analysts throughout the SDLC.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve quality and release speed.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production and testing defects.
• Drive adherence to quality standards, testing best practices, and PCI controls.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and mentor other QA professionals.
