Align Technology, Inc. in Juarez is seeking a Sr Automation Mechanical Engineer to lead automation projects aimed at cost reduction, quality improvement, and capacity increases within the R&D department.

This role requires a Mechanical/Mechatronics background, 5 years of relevant experience, and strong hands-on expertise in SolidWorks, PLCs, pneumatics, servo motors, and automation systems, with advanced English proficiency. International travel for project coordination is expected.

Formación

• Engineering degree in a mechanical-related field.
• 5 years of experience in a similar automation role.
• Strong 3D design skills using SolidWorks.
• Experience with PLCs, electronics, pneumatics and servo motors.
• Automation and electrical control systems expertise; English advanced.

Responsabilidades

• Lead cost-saving automation projects and improve production processes.
• Develop equipment for automation projects and prototypes.
• Coordinate external suppliers and contracts for equipment.
• Update mechanical drawings and supervise implementations.
• Travel internationally for project coordination and verification.
• Support Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement programs.
