Align Technology, Inc. seeks a Sr Automation Control Engineer in Juarez to lead controls engineering for manufacturing processes. You will document, measure, and improve processes, and implement new automation technologies across the plant.

The role requires extensive hands-on programming in PLC/SCADA; familiarity with Rockwell Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, Cognex and Fanuc robotics. Strong problem solving and Siemens-like data handling skills are essential.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
5-7 years of experience in Controls / Automation Engineering.
Strong programming in C++, C#, SQL Server, and Visual Basic in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with Rockwell Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk.
Experience with Fanuc Robotics, Cognex/Matrox Vision systems.
Six Sigma training (Green Belt minimum) preferred.
FDA regulated environment experience desirable.

Responsabilidades

Document, define, measure and improve existing manufacturing processes using automation techniques (PLCs, data base management).
Document, define, measure and improve software validation processes (Unit Testing, Integration Testing, SQA).
Ensure manufacturing processes and tools are optimized for quality and productivity.
Research, develop, and implement new state of the art manufacturing processes and technologies.
Integrate and automate existing manufacturing systems and processes.
Implement and champion continuous process improvement methodologies.
Perform IQ, OQ, and PQ validations as needed for equipment and software changes.
Troubleshoot and service mechanical/electrical equipment and software.
