Ensambles Hyson is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead high-impact automation and manufacturing optimization initiatives in our Sonora facility. You will own capital equipment projects, collaborate across Production, Quality, and Supply Chain, and drive improvements from concept through validation and production release.

The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing engineering, strong knowledge of automation systems, and excellent communication in English.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).
7+ years of experience.
Demonstrated experience managing capital equipment, automation, or process improvement projects from concept through implementation.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation systems, and engineering fundamentals.
Experience with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and execution.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively communicate technical information to all levels of the organization.
Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

Lead identification, development, and implementation of manufacturing process improvements through sound engineering principles, automation technologies, and lean manufacturing practices.
Own and drive automation, capital equipment, and process improvement initiatives from concept to production release.
Collaborate with management to define objectives, scope, schedules, budgets, and success metrics; maintain accountability for execution.
Analyze complex manufacturing challenges and develop innovative technical solutions to improve safety, quality, productivity, cost, and efficiency.
Design, evaluate, and optimize assembly processes, equipment, tooling, and systems to meet business needs.
Lead cross-functional teams across Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Product Engineering.
Develop equipment specifications, statements of work, and technical requirements for new automation systems.
Manage CAPEX, NPD, automation, and continuous improvement projects per PM and engineering change procedures.
Support daily operations by troubleshooting, implementing corrective actions, and driving improvements.
Work with suppliers, system integrators, and contractors to develop and validate equipment through IPDMS.
Establish process performance metrics and monitor system effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Generate and maintain engineering documentation including specifications, validation protocols, risk assessments, and reports.
Support risk reduction through automation, poka-yoke, machine vision, and process controls.
