Job summary

Lennox in Saltillo, Mexico, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Specialist to lead strategic projects that improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost competitiveness in HVAC manufacturing operations.

You will drive capital investments, automation initiatives, and process optimization, coordinating cross-functional teams from concept through production stabilization, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven decision making to deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing or Mechatronics required.
• 5+ years of progressive Manufacturing Engineering experience in high-volume environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex technical projects and cross-functional teams.
• CAPEX project experience from justification through installation, validation, and handoff.
• HVAC, refrigeration, appliances, or related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, planning, execution, and implementation of strategic manufacturing projects to improve safety, quality, productivity, capacity and cost competitiveness.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams from concept through production stabilization.
• Apply engineering principles, data-driven decision making, and advanced manufacturing technologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Drive automation initiatives, equipment integration, and manufacturing readiness for insourcing and optimization programs.
