Job summary

Celestica Monterrey seeks a Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Equipment to drive development, procurement and deployment of automated manufacturing solutions. You will lead hardware/software improvements, analyze OEE, and coordinate with solution providers to meet production goals.

You will also spearhead FAT/SAT validation, develop maintenance plans, and support product roadmaps using Celestica E2E tools. Some travel may be required to align with manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
• Experience with automation equipment and manufacturing systems
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead development, procurement and implementation of off-the-shelf or new automation solutions to support manufacturing equipment needs
• Plan and lead hardware and software improvements of automated lines; analyze OEE and data; coordinate with solution providers
• Lead equipment validation activities such as FAT and SAT and ensure readiness for deployment
• Develop maintenance plans and oversee activities to achieve target performance and OEE improvements
• Support customer product roadmaps using Celestica Automation E2E processes and tools (URS, DFAA, PM workbook)
• Drive corrective actions for machine failures, speed loss or quality issues
• Collaborate with Process Engineering to ensure equipment can meet product manufacturing requirements
