EDAG is seeking a Senior Assembly Planner in Mexico to lead planning and implementation of complex production equipment and assembly systems for automotive projects.

The role requires strong experience in assembly planning, cost/time reduction, RFQ development, and cross-functional collaboration. Travel and OEM experience are important; a six-month assignment offers opportunities to influence ramp-ups and workshops.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial engineering or business administration.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience.
• Experience at an OEM in automotive assembly planning is required.
• Ergonomics standards knowledge is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Escorting complete planning and implementation phases of complex production equipment and assembly systems.
• Analyze, conceptualize and implement assembly structures and processes.
• Identify potentials for costing and time reduction and assure processes.
• Develop assembly and test processes and perform FMEAs.
• Develop RFQs for equipment and assembly tools.
• Select, design and source equipment.
• Manage projects: control, timeline tracking and defect documentation.
• Participate in 3P and ramp-up workshops.
