EDAG Group in Puebla, Mexico, seeks a Senior Assembly Planner to lead the planning and execution of complex production equipment projects, including tools and assembly systems.

You will analyse assembly structures, develop and validate processes, perform FMEAs, and interface with suppliers and OEMs. The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering, at least four years of relevant experience, fluent English, and willingness to travel.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering or business administration.
• At least 4 years of professional experience.
• Experience at an OEM.
• Substantial experience in assembly planning and related fields in automotive industry.
• Knowledge of ergonomics standards is an advantage.
• Knowledge in Kanban Systematic.
• CATIA and Layout HLS are an advantage.
• Experience in project management and willingness to travel.
• Fluent English; German A2 is a plus.
• Position for 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Escorting of complete planning and implementation phases of complex production equipment and assembly systems.
• Analysis, conception and implementation of assembly structures and processes.
• Identify potentials for costing and time reduction and ensure process quality.
• Develop assembly and test processes and conduct FMEAs.
• Develop technical RFQs for equipment and tools and select suppliers.
• Project management including controlling, scheduling, and documenting defects.
• Participate in workshops, 3P processes and ramp-up activities.

DESCRIPTION

• Escorting of complete planning and implementation phases of complex production equipment as well as tools and assembly systems with focus of general process planning.
• Analysis, conception and implementation of assembly structures and processes
• Analysis and detecting of potentials for costing and F-time reduction as well as assurance of processes.
• Development of assembly and test processes and execution of FMEAs
• Developing of technical RFQ for equipment and assembly tools
• Selection, design and sourcing of equipment
• Project management (controlling, monitoring of dates, documentation of defects)
• Good knowledge by participating in workshops, 3P process and ramp-up workshops

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering or business administration
• At least 4 years of professional experience.
• Experience at an OEM
• Substantial experience in the specific planning fields in the automotive industry (assembly, factory planning, paint shop, body shop, conveyance) Specifically a very high knowledge and experience in Assembly Equipment and Tools Planning.
• KnowledgeofErgonomics Standards is an advantage
• Knowledge in Kanban Systematic
• CATIA and Layout HLS is an advantage
