EDAG Mexico is seeking an Expert Assembly Planner to lead the planning and implementation of complex production equipment and assembly systems, with a strong focus on general process planning. You will represent Project Planning in multidisciplinary forums and drive cost and time reduction initiatives.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in engineering, 5+ years in automotive planning, OEM experience, fluent English, willingness to travel, and CATIA familiarity.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechatronics, mechanical, related.
• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience at an OEM.
• Substantial experience in assembly equipment and tools planning in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of Ergonomics Standards.
• Knowledge in Kanban Systematic.
• CATIA and Layout HLS is an advantage.
• Experience in project management.
• Willingness to travel.
• Fluent English.
• German A2 is a plus.
• Position for 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Lead of complete planning and implementation phases of complex production equipment and tools and assembly systems with focus on general process planning.
• Representation of Project Planning department on multidisciplinary forums
• Analysis, conception and implementation of assembly structures and processes
• Analysis and detecting of potentials for costing and F-time reduction as well as assurance of processes.
• Development of assembly and test processes and execution of FMEAs
• Developing of technical RFQ for equipment and assembly tools
• Selection, design and sourcing of equipment
• Project management (controlling, monitoring of dates, documentation of defects)
• Good knowledge by participating in workshops, 3P process and ramp‑up workshops

QUALIFICATIONS

• Substantial experience in the specific planning fields in the automotive industry (assembly, factory planning, paint shop, body shop, conveyance) Specifically a very high knowledge and experience in Assembly Equipment and Tools Planning.
• Knowledge ofErgonomics Standards
• Knowledge in Kanban Systematic
• CATIA and Layout HLS is an advantage
• Experience of project management
• Willingness to travel
• Fluent English
