EDAG Group in Puebla, Mexico, is seeking a Junior Assembly Planner to support planning and implementation of complex production equipment, assembly lines, and tooling. The role focuses on process planning, cost savings, and ramp-up activities within an automotive environment.

You will work on developing assembly and test processes, conducting FMEAs, and collaborating in workshops. Travel readiness and a background in engineering are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial engineering or business administration.
• 1–3 years of professional experience, preferably in automotive.
• Experience at an OEM in assembly/equipment planning.
• Willingness to travel and English fluency (German A2 a plus).
• Knowledge of ergonomics and automotive ergonomics standards is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and manage complete phases of production equipment, tools and assembly systems.
• Analyse, design and implement assembly structures and processes.
• Identify cost-saving potentials and ensure process reliability.
• Develop assembly and test processes and execute FMEAs.
• Prepare technical RFQs for equipment and assembly tools.
• Select, design and source equipment.
• Oversee project management: timelines, documentation of defects.
• Participate in workshops and ramp-up activities.
