EDAG Group in Puebla, Mexico is seeking an Expert Assembly Planner to lead planning and implementation of complex production equipment and assembly systems for automotive projects.

You will represent the Project Planning department in multidisciplinary forums, analyze processes, and drive improvements. The role requires 5+ years in assembly planning, OEM experience, willingness to travel, fluent English, and a German A2 bonus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechatronics, mechanical, related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience at an OEM.
• Substantial experience in assembly equipment and tools planning in automotive.
• Knowledge of ergonomics standards and Kanban systems.
• Fluent English; German A2 is a plus; willingness to travel.
• Position for 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Lead complete planning and implementation phases of complex production equipment and tools for assembly systems.
• Represent Project Planning in multidisciplinary forums.
• Analyze, conceive and implement assembly structures and processes.
• Identify cost and time reduction potentials and ensure process reliability.
• Develop assembly and test processes and perform FMEAs.
• Develop technical RFQs for equipment and tools and manage sourcing.
• Select, design and source equipment; manage project controls and documentation.

DESCRIPTION

• Lead of complete planning and implementation phases of complex production equipment as well as tools and assembly systems with focus of general process planning.
• Representation of Project Planning department on multidisciplinary forums
• Analysis, conception and implementation of assembly structures and processes
• Analysis and detecting of potentials for costing and F-time reduction as well as assurance of processes.
• Development of assembly and test processes and execution of FMEAs
• Developing of technical RFQ for equipment and assembly tools
• Selection, design and sourcing of equipment
• Project management (controlling, monitoring of dates, documentation of defects)
• Good knowledge by participating in workshops, 3P process and ramp-up workshops

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechatronics, mechanical, related
• At least 5years of professional experience.
• Experience at an OEM
• Substantial experience in the specific planning fields in the automotive industry (assembly, factory planning, paint shop, body shop, conveyance) Specifically a very high knowledge and experience in Assembly Equipment and Tools Planning.
• Knowledge ofErgonomics Standards
• Knowledge in Kanban Systematic
• CATIA and Layout HLS is an advantage
• Experience of project management
• Willingness to travel
• Fluent English
• German A2 (is a plus)
• Position for 6 months
