Monks is seeking a Senior Art Director to lead the conceptualization, visual direction, and execution of digital campaigns and social-first content. We’re looking for a creative thinker who blends strong visual craft, conceptual abilities, and knowledge of emerging technologies to develop original ideas and high-quality creative executions.

As a key leader, you’ll shape concepts, collaborate across disciplines, and drive standout creative across platforms while embracing cutting-edge AI tools

Qualifications

• 5+ years in art direction or senior design in advertising or digital agencies.
• Strong conceptual thinking with original visual ideas and campaigns.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator; Figma experience.
• Knowledge of AI-powered tools for image generation and production workflows.
• Understanding of emerging technologies in creative applications.
• Portfolio showing art direction, storytelling, and digital executions.
• Experience creating social-first content across platforms.
• Excellent visual communication, presentation, and collaboration.
• Proficient in Spanish and English under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop original visual concepts and art direction proposals aligned with briefs and brand objectives.
• Collaborate with Copywriters, Strategists, and teams to turn concepts into executions.
• Create moodboards, mockups, storyboards, and visual presentations for proposals.
• Lead visual execution across digital campaigns and social content.
• Explore AI-powered tools to enhance ideation and production workflows.
• Apply visual storytelling to translate complex ideas into engaging executions.
• Present and defend creative concepts with clear rationale.
• Maintain high standards of typography, composition, and branding.
