Job summary

Ciena Corporation is seeking an Analog Layout Engineer to contribute to high-speed analog/mixed-signal layouts for deep-submicron CMOS technologies. You will work on DAC, ADC, SERDES, transimpedance amplifiers, and related blocks to enable broadband fiber-modem solutions.

You will perform layout verification (DRC, LVS, ANT, PERC, EM, IR), create floorplans, place and route analog blocks, and explore tool features to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant analog/mixed-signal layout experience.
• Deep-submicron CMOS layout experience including FinFET devices.
• Experience with ADC, DAC, PLL, and SERDES layout.
• Collaborative work in a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate layout feasibility for circuit designs with senior analog designers.
• Create analog layouts through floor planning, placement, and routing.
• Perform DRC, LVS, ANT, PERC, EM, and IR checks to ensure layout quality.
• Investigate layout tool/process features to improve productivity.
• Provide regular status updates and share knowledge with the group.
