Job summary

DXC Technology in Mexico City is seeking an experienced software engineering leader to guide a team of engineers in developing software products and solutions. You will mentor staff, perform code reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements for successful delivery.

You will also help manage risks, timelines, and budgets, contribute to the technology strategy, and foster a culture of learning and innovation throughout the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Typically 6+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 2+ years in a leadership/mentoring capacity.
• Proficiency in 1 or more programming languages and development methodologies.
• Strong programming and debugging skills.
• Some prior experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a leadership role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
