Honeywell Technologies in Mexico City is seeking a Sr. Advanced Project Engineer to lead strategic product development and technology initiatives within the Industrial Automation and Smart Energy portfolios.
You will drive global programs, align roadmaps with business priorities, and lead cross-functional teams in Agile/SAFe environments to accelerate innovation and customer value. The role requires strong leadership, systems thinking, and advanced English communication.
Formación
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of experience leading complex engineering programs involving hardware, firmware, software, connected products, or industrial automation solutions.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional product development initiatives in a global environment.
- Strong understanding of New Product Introduction (NPI) and product lifecycle management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to drive execution across multiple stakeholders, functions, and business priorities.
- Experience operating within Agile development environments.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced English communication skills.
Responsabilidades
- Lead strategic product development programs from concept through commercialization, ensuring delivery of objectives.
- Drive NPI, portfolio expansion, technology transformation, product sustainment, and productivity initiatives across global teams.
- Develop and execute program strategies aligning technical roadmaps with business priorities and market opportunities.
- Apply Systems Thinking to assess end-to-end impacts across products, technologies, customers, organizations, and processes.
- Leverage Design Thinking to translate customer insights into innovative and scalable solutions.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial teams to accelerate decision-making.
- Lead executive-level program reviews, business updates, risk management activities, and milestone governance.
- Identify and mitigate technical, operational, financial, and organizational risks.
- Build alignment and influence stakeholders across a global matrix organization.
- Enable organizational agility through participation in Agile and SAFe processes.
- Champion operational excellence, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making.
- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.
