Job summary

Opsarmy is seeking a Senior Accountant to own end-to-end accounting for a portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with QuickBooks Online (QBO), Bill.com, and Double, focusing on inventory and cost accounting for e-commerce/CPG businesses.

You will manage month-end close, client deliverables, and inquiries, ensuring accurate financial records. The role supports remote engagement with potential responsibility to lead staff accounting on engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory costing and keeping accurate records.
• Strong transactional accounting experience and proper classification of entries.
• Knowledge of e-commerce or CPG accounting practices and inventory considerations.
• Proven ability to support month-end close processes and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal client communication and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end month-end close for assigned client portfolio.
• Handle specific close tasks with timely, accurate completion.
• Record, classify, and reconcile financial transactions.
• Manage inventory costing and related reporting.
• Apply e-commerce/CPG accounting methods to client books.
• Prepare and review client accounting deliverables and reports.
• Respond to client questions and gather missing documentation.
• Maintain clean financial records in QBO and Double.
