Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to analyze, record and report accounting transactions, manage the Mexico Trading general ledger, and prepare balance sheets and income statements with auditors.

You will implement internal controls, collaborate with Sales, Tax and external auditors, and ensure compliance with US and Mexico GAAP while maintaining strict confidentiality of financial data. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Advanced English level.
• 3+ years of financial and accounting experience.
• Project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the Mexico Trading general ledger with Sales, Tax and external auditors.
• Prepare and review balance sheets and income statements in line with local and statutory reporting.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with US and Mexico GAAP.
