Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Mexico is seeking an experienced Finance professional to manage the Mexico Trading general ledger and support financial reporting and tax compliance. You will collaborate with Sales, Tax, and external auditors to ensure accuracy and adherence to local regulations.

The role requires Advanced English, 3+ years in accounting, and project management experience; a CPA/CMA/CA is preferred. This position is on-site with flexibility and offers experienced-level responsibilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, records and reports accounting transactions in a timely manner.
• Prepares general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Prepares balance sheets and P&L statements and other schedules and reports.
• Responds to inquiries from management, auditors, and SOX group.
• Reviews internal controls and develops new controls as needed.
• Recommends changes to improve accounting procedures.
• Protects confidential information.
