Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join the Finance team in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. The role focuses on financial analyses, AOP/forecasting, month-end close, and data-driven insights to support business decisions.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in financial processes, budgeting, forecasting, and controls, with English proficiency and US/MX GAAP knowledge. This on-site role offers opportunities to collaborate across functions and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or a related field.
Minimum professional experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis.
Proficiency in English (Intermediate to Advanced).
Knowledge of US GAAP and Mexican GAAP.

Responsibilities

Prepare financial analyses, reports, and presentations for leaders and functional teams.
Participate in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and financial forecasting processes.
Support month-end close activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Consolidate, validate, and analyze financial data for integrity and quality.
Generate financial and statistical reports on performance, costs, and variances.
Analyze trends, risks, and opportunities to support decisions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to drive aligned initiatives.
Support internal and external audits with documentation and analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and corporate policies.
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting.
Participate in special finance, controls, and business analysis projects.
Monitor financial performance through KPIs.
