Capgemini Mexico is seeking a Senior iOS Quality Engineer (SDET) to design and maintain scalable mobile automation frameworks, delivering high-quality iOS apps with strong performance. You will build UI automation with XCUITest and Swift, and drive quality engineering across the SDLC.

You will collaborate closely with developers, product and QA teams to improve automation, tests, and delivery velocity in a fast-paced environment leveraging modern DevOps practices.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining automated testing solutions.
• Strong programming in Swift and Java for iOS automation.
• Experience with XCUITest and mobile test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Bitbucket, Jira, and TestRail workflows.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Bamboo or Buddybuild in DevOps environments.

Your Role

As a Senior iOS Quality Engineer (SDET) at Capgemini, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise mobile applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks while driving quality engineering best practices across the software development lifecycle.

This role requires strong expertise in mobile automation, software development, CI/CD integration, and quality engineering processes. You will partner closely with developers, product teams, and QA stakeholders to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions while continuously improving automation capabilities and testing efficiency.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Own the design, development, execution, and maintenance of iOS test automation frameworks and processes.
• Develop and maintain mobile UI automation using XCUITest and Swift.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test suites for:
• Functional Testing
• Integration Testing
• End-to-End Testing
• Regression Testing
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and quality teams to identify opportunities for automation and quality improvements.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Drive process improvements across testing, automation execution, and software delivery practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD implementation and optimization using modern DevOps practices.
• Evaluate and recommend testing tools, frameworks, and emerging technologies.
• Create proof-of-concept solutions to validate automation approaches and new technologies.
• Monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and communicate test execution results and quality metrics.
• Develop and maintain test data required for automation execution and validation.
• Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews, refactoring initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.

• 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining automated testing solutions.
• Strong programming experience in object-oriented languages such as:

• Hands-on experience developing iOS mobile test automation using:

• Functional Testing
• Integration Testing

• Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, algorithms, and design patterns.
