Capgemini Mexico is seeking an HR Test Lead / Xray Testing SME to drive end-to-end testing for HR technology initiatives. You will own test management, requirements traceability, defect governance, and reporting excellence, acting as the subject matter expert for Jira and Xray across planning, execution, and release readiness.

The role requires experience in QA/Test Management and HR systems implementations and involves stakeholder collaboration.

Your Role

As an HR Test Lead / Xray Testing SME at Capgemini, you will lead end-to-end testing activities for HR technology initiatives, ensuring high-quality releases through structured test management, requirements traceability, defect governance, and reporting excellence. You will act as the subject matter expert for Jira and Xray, driving testing best practices across planning, execution, and release readiness. This role requires strong experience in QA/Test Management, HR system implementations, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to establish clear quality metrics, dashboards, and testing governance frameworks that provide transparency and confidence throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Lead end-to-end testing activities for HR projects, from test planning through execution and release validation.
• Serve as the primary SME for Jira and Xray, configuring and managing test repositories, test cycles, traceability, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test execution schedules.
• Ensure full requirements-to-test traceability, providing visibility across business requirements, test coverage, defects, and release readiness.
• Coordinate and oversee functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Establish and maintain testing dashboards, KPIs, metrics, and executive-level reporting.
• Manage defect lifecycle processes, ensuring timely triage, prioritization, resolution tracking, and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate closely with HR business teams, product owners, developers, and project managers to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
• Identify testing risks, dependencies, and quality gaps, proactively driving mitigation plans.
• Promote testing best practices, standardization, and continuous improvement across teams and programs.

As Test Automation Engineer, you are involved in the automated verification and validation of products made by engineers in a development process. Your technical and professional knowledge of Test Automation, programming, test environments and methodologies is solid. With your knowledge and experience with one or more test tools and test techniques, you can independently design and execute test automation solutions. You follow the latest developments in your field and you know what is going on.

As a QA Automation Expert, you are expected to develop automation solutions, create tools strategy, create automation approach, evaluate tools, perform technical feasibility, build business cases ROI and estimate automation effort. You are expected to implement automation solutions in different projects and deliver costoreffort savings to customer. You are expected to work independently, if required, to provide consultancy services to customers.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Test Management.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Jira and Xray as primary testing tools.
• Proven experience leading testing efforts for HR systems, HR transformations, or enterprise application implementations.
• Strong knowledge of test planning, test execution, requirements traceability, and defect management.
• Experience creating testing metrics, dashboards, and quality reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to coordinate multiple testing workstreams and manage competing priorities.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
