ZF LIFETEC, based in Mexico, seeks an SCM AM Digitalization and Material Flow Expert to drive digitalization across the Americas. You will shape roadmaps, deploy MES/WMS, and collaborate with IT, operations, and external vendors to optimize material flow. A strong background in automotive SCM and digital tools is essential.

The role demands 7+ years in supply chain, APICS certification, and excellent English communication, with a deep understanding of end-to-end material flow and automation.

Formación

• Bachelor degree and APICS certification.
• 7+ years experience in supply chain / logistics in automotive.
• Excellent English and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and material flow.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), WMS, MES.
• Knowledge of digitalization tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python).
• Familiarity with simulation tools (Any Logic, Plant Simulation).
• Understanding of automation technologies (AGVs/AMRs, Industry 4.0).

Responsabilidades

• Define and deploy the digitalization roadmap for SCM across the Americas.
• Align regional digital initiatives with global SCM and Industry 4.0 strategies.
• Identify opportunities for automation, data integration, and real-time visibility.
• Lead implementation of digital tools (MES integration, WMS enhancements, IoT).
• Analyze end-to-end material flow from inbound to outbound.
• Optimize physical flow to reduce lead times and inventory costs.
• Define standardized material flow concepts across plants and warehouses.
• Lead regional digitalization and material flow projects (greenfield/brownfield).

Your Tasks

• Define and deploy digitalization roadmap for SCM operations across the Americas region.
• Align regional digital initiatives with global SCM and Industry 4.0 strategies.
• Identify opportunities for automation, data integration, and real‑time visibility.
• Lead implementation of digital tools (e.g., MES integration, WMS enhancements, IoT solutions).
• Analyze and design end‑to‑end material flow (inbound, internal production, outbound).
• Optimize physical flow, reducing lead times, handling costs, and inventory.
• Define and standardize material flow concepts across plants and warehouses.
• Support line‑feeding concepts (Kanban, JIT/JIS, supermarkets, milk runs).
• Implement dashboards and KPIs for material flow and logistics visibility.
• Drive use of digital twins and simulation tools for flow optimization.
• Define and roll out standardized SCM digital processes and tools.
• Support audits and assessments related to SCM digital maturity.
• Evaluate and implement automation technologies (AGVs, AMRs, robotics, smart conveyors).
• Integrate automation into material flow concepts.
• Coordinate layout changes aligned with automation strategies.
• Lead regional digitalization and material flow projects (greenfield/brownfield)
• Manage cross‑functional teams (IT, operations, engineering, external vendors).

Your Profile

• Bachelor Degree, APICS Certification
• 7+ years experience in supply chain / logistics/in automotive industry
• Excellent English and communication skills
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain and material flow principles.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred), WMS, MES.
• Knowledge of digitalization tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python is a plus).
• Familiarity with simulation tools (Any Logic, Plant Simulation, etc.)
• Understanding of automation technologies (AGVs/AMRs, Industry 4.0 systems).
