Johnson Controls is seeking a detail-oriented BOM/Materials Engineer to manage BOM data and SAP master parameters for all plant products. You will coordinate product changes, ensure accurate SAP dates, and support ECN processes across Design and Manufacturing teams.

Expect responsibilities including maintaining BOMs, creating material records, archiving revisions, and generating ECN reports. A strong eye for accuracy, teamwork, and experience with SAP are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to the position requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) information for all products at the plant.
• Maintain the Material Master with correct SAP parameters.
• Coordinate product changes and ensure accurate SAP effective dates.
• Update revision/drawing information in SAP and archive obsolete versions.
• Prepare and process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
• Create and maintain product structures (BOMs) and new material numbers in SAP.
• Generate BOMs and part numbers by loading components into SAP Material Master.
• Coordinate product change meetings and follow up on Engineering Changes.
• Send notifications regarding Engineering Changes to users.
• Conduct weekly audits of product parameters in SAP and ensure 100% audit compliance.
