Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks a detail‑oriented engineer to manage BOM information for all plant products and keep the SAP Material Master accurate. You will coordinate product changes, create materials, and ensure ECNs are implemented on schedule.

You will also maintain data accuracy, archives, and change communications to multiple departments, supporting ISO 9000 compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to the position requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; adaptability.

Responsabilidades

• Update revision and drawing information in SAP.
• Release technical information on SAP and archive obsolete versions.
• Prepare and process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
• Create and maintain product structures (BOMs) in SAP.
• Create new material numbers in SAP based on ECNs.
• Modify and maintain existing Bills of Materials.
• Coordinate product change meetings and follow up on changes.
• Manage SAP effective dates and issue notifications on changes.
• Maintain active/inactive items and ensure obsolescence process.
• Conduct weekly audits of product parameters and ensure compliance.
