Versigent in Chihuahua, Mexico seeks an experienced Engineer to analyze and quote engineering changes (CRs/ECRs) to meet target margins. You will validate costs, prepare preliminary quotes, and lead cross-functional cost-estimating efforts to ensure timely submissions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing or process engineering, ECM knowledge, and strong English skills. You will collaborate with account managers and cost teams in a fast-paced, results-driven

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar.
• 3+ years in product engineering/assembly processes/manufacturing engineering/Process Engineering.
• English proficiency 80% or higher.
• ECM knowledge.
• Ability to communicate with multiple cost estimating departments and question data.
• Organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks, make timely decisions.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and prepare Engineering change quotations (CRs) to obtain the specified contribution margin target.
• Capture profit opportunities when applicable.
• Validate CR associated costs: materials, labor, tooling, equipment, misc.
• Prepare preliminary quotation (ECR’s or Customer Quotes) using customer required cost model.
• Prepare board tooling and component tooling cost quotations.
• Meet customer turnaround expectations for quoting engineer changes.
• Lead the cross functional team to ensure costs are input to the CR in timely manner.
• Ensure investment quoted on changes is accurate and that customer required details are submitted on time so that tooling can be invoiced.
• Support Account Manager in the audit of tooling, equipment, and expense costs on engineering changes.
