Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking an HSE professional to plan, implement, and oversee Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental management across our operations in Mexico. You will drive risk-based improvements, develop safety programs, and ensure compliance with NOMs, ISO standards, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Protection, or related field.
• Training certificates in STPS regulations, Civil Protection, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
• DC5 certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop process management for health, safety, and environment.
• Establish control mechanisms for new projects meeting HSE requirements.
• Lead risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance across sites.
• Reduce injuries by improving industrial safety, hygiene, ergonomics, and environment.
• Manage documentation for the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Serve as Internal Auditor for the IMS and train staff on HSE processes.
