Wallenius Wilhelmsen in Toluca, MX seeks a Health & Safety Specialist to follow up on safety programs, monitor incident trends, and drive compliance with ISO 45001/14001 and client requirements. You will train staff, support audits, and develop procedures and KPI reports to strengthen our safety culture.

You will collaborate across teams, maintain documentation, and ensure actions are closed to prevent risks, contributing to a safer workplace for our global logistics operations.

Formación

• Bachelors degree in industrial engineering, Civil Protection, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in industrial safety.
• Spanish language required.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and follow up on workplace accident rates.
• Conduct safety training sessions and employee safety inductions.
• Manage safety and environmental compliance procedures with clients and government authorities.
• Support internal audits and provide assistance during external audits.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with client requirements.
• Support compliance with Safety 1st / WOW initiatives.
• Support compliance with client requirements and specifications.
• Support compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and annual safety KPI reports.
• Collect and record safety monitoring data and perform trend analysis.
• Support the closure of action plans aimed at risk prevention.
• Develop safety procedures, manuals, LUPS (Lesson Learned / One-Point Lessons), and related documentation.
• Implement and monitor the IMPACT program.
• Support the preparation and reporting of KPIs.
• Record and follow up on unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
• Support the completion of risk assessments.
