Job summary

SNF Staffing Solutions in Taos, New Mexico, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our skilled nursing centers. Eligible candidates may receive relocation assistance and TN visa sponsorship for a guaranteed stay of up to three years with renewable extensions.

As an RN, you will render nursing care in accordance with standards, physician orders, and state and federal guidelines, including charting, narcotics handling, and patient condition documentation, in a Spanish and English speaking setting.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license in home country.
• Graduated from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Must be proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents any change in patient's conditions including nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss or any other noticeable changes.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Documents and notifies applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
