Job summary

Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is seeking a Reservations Staff member for our Guadalajara (MX) location. You will record all incoming calls and coordinate reservations to ensure guest satisfaction.

You will upsell, stay informed on rates and packages, and respond within 24 hours to reservation requests while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hotel information and promotions.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and persuasive abilities.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and spoken English required.
• Experience in reservations or hospitality is a plus.

What will be your mission?

As a Reservations Staff, you will record all details of incoming calls and coordinate each reservation ensuring guest satisfaction.

What will you do?

• Encourage upselling and meeting set revenue targets each month.
• Be fully aware of the hotel's sales strategy, rates, packages, groups and booking status at all times.
• Process and respond within 24 hours to all reservation requests according to standards.
• Be up-to-date with current hotel information and data including room types, rates, facilities, F&B departments and promotions.
• Maximize quality levels of product, service and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure that all guest satisfaction issues are reported, monitored and followed up in a timely manner.
• Monitor daily arrivals by ensuring that all guest requests are fulfilled and that all expectations are met.
• Attend hotel events, daily briefings and training to enhance professional skills.
