Job summary

Jobgether seeks a creative Video Editor for performance ads (e-commerce) based in Mexico. You will transform briefs and assets into high-converting video ads for Meta, TikTok, Google, and YouTube, blending traditional editing with AI-enabled tools.

You’ll produce weekly ad concepts, optimize UGC and product footage, and create AI-generated content with virtual presenters and synthetic voices. Strong English copywriting helps craft hooks and captions.

Qualifications

• Has 2+ years editing direct-response video ads for e-commerce/DTC brands.
• Portfolio with live ads; links required; generic reels not sufficient.
• Proven ability to edit UGC into high-converting ads.
• Strong understanding of Meta creative testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Transform briefs into polished, conversion-focused video ads.
• Produce a consistent weekly volume of ad concepts and hooks.
• Edit UGC, creator footage, product demos into engaging ads.
• Create AI-generated advertising content (virtual presenters, synthetic voices).
• Combine traditional editing with AI workflows for high-quality content.
• Develop and test various formats (problem-solution, testimonials, unboxing).
• Apply performance marketing principles to hooks, pacing, captions, CTAs.
• Monitor metrics (hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPA, ROAS).
• Use insights to optimize ads and create new variations.
• Stay updated on AI creative trends and platform formats.
• Collaborate on internal AI-powered tools and seasonal campaigns.
