Cloud Accountant Staffing - Careers in Latin America seeks a results-driven US Accountant working as a full-time independent contractor. You’ll own the close, reconcile AP/AR, payroll, and produce plain-English reports for US-based leaders.

You’ll collaborate across time zones, standardize processes, and apply automation to reduce errors. 3+ years US accounting experience, QuickBooks Online proficiency, and strong English are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years US accounting experience (public practice or industry).
• QuickBooks Online proficiency with clean, documented workflows.
• CPA or non-CPA—both welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Own the close, stitch AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Prepare timely balance sheets, P&Ls, and cash-flow statements with variance analysis.
• Translate financials into plain English for US-based teammates and clients.
• Manage books end-to-end: AP/AR, month-end close, journal entries, accruals, GL.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, merchant, and loan accounts.
