Scopely, a leading global mobile games company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Gaming Full Stack) to own the technical roadmap and drive live-ops for WWE Champions. You will bridge backend services with Unity client systems, leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality player experiences.

The role requires deep backend expertise in Python/Django and Unity development in production, with cloud and DevOps practices. Remote with options across the US/Canada or hybrid in Mexico City.

Formación

• 6+ years in professional software development for gaming or live-service apps.
• Deep expertise with Python and Django backend.
• Hands-on Unity (C#) development in production.
• Experience designing scalable systems and operating live services.
• Familiarity with AWS and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, containers).
• Experience with data pipelines, performance tuning, and serialization workflows (FlatBuffers/JSON).

Responsabilidades

• Lead high-impact initiatives bridging backend services and Unity client systems.
• Own the technical roadmap and drive live-ops reliability and improvements.
• Design and deliver features linking Python/Django backend with Unity clients.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and unblock complex technical challenges.
• Contribute to hands-on feature development with code quality across client/server.
• Identify and mitigate technical debt to improve team velocity.
