Scopely is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Gaming Backend) to support the WWE Champions team from the United States, Canada, or Mexico City on a remote or hybrid basis. You will design and evolve backend systems powering live gameplay and ensure reliability at scale.

You will collaborate with game client engineers, design, QA, and analytics, drive the technical roadmap, mentor teams, and push for high-performance server architectures that deliver engaging player experiences across mobile

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience in gaming or live-service applications.
• Strong backend and server-side language experience.
• Experience collaborating with game client engineers (e.g., Unity/C#) to deliver integrated fullstack features.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent) and modern CI/CD practices.
• Experience working with content pipelines and performance optimization.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and evolve backend systems for core gameplay and live-service operations.
• Drive live-ops excellence through incident management and reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with design and QA to deliver high-quality player experiences and technical roadmaps.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and unblock technical challenges in a high-concurrency environment.
• Contribute to hands-on feature development across server and client codebases.
