Scopely is seeking a Software Engineer, Web/Full Stack to join the Scopely Explore Player Platform team in Mexico City on a hybrid basis, working 3 days a week from the hub. You will build scalable, interactive web experiences and collaborate across product and design teams globally.

The role emphasizes execution-focused development, a strong backend collaboration, and a passion for gaming products, with a global reach through Pokémon GO-related experiences and other titles.

Formación

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional industry experience in full-stack web development.
• Strong, production-proven experience building web applications with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Solid understanding of client-server domains with HTTP, GraphQL, and gRPC.
• Ability to integrate AI coding assistants while meeting team standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and independence in ambiguous environments.
• Strong English language skills for a global business.

Responsabilidades

• Build well-designed, high-performance web applications and UI components using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Create responsive desktop and mobile experiences for millions of players.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs to support web apps.
• Design efficient client-server contracts using HTTP, GraphQL, and gRPC.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams to align goals.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and troubleshoot live systems.
• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders and maintain regular meeting participation.
