Scopely is seeking a Software Engineer (Gaming Fullstack) to join the WWE Champions team. This role can be remote in the United States or Canada or hybrid in Mexico City.
You will work on connecting backend services with Unity client systems, support the technical roadmap, and contribute to live-ops excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, deliver high-quality player experiences, and balance backend and Unity development with strong collaboration to solve technical
Formación
- Proven backend development with Python and Django.
- Experience with Unity (C#) in production.
- Experience building scalable live-service gaming systems.
Responsabilidades
- Support the technical roadmap for fullstack gaming initiatives with scalable, high-performance architecture.
- Bridge backend (Python/Django) with Unity game client requirements.
- Contribute to live-ops, incident management, reliability improvements, and service maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA, Analytics) to discuss and drive technical decisions.
- Contribute to hands-on feature development across client and server codebases.
- Identify and mitigate technical debt and bottlenecks to improve team velocity.
