Job summary

Latino Legends is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant fluent in QuickBooks Online to own client books from initial categorization to final financial statements. You will manage month-end closes, reconcile complex accounts, and deliver GAAP-compliant financials while communicating clearly with non-financial clients.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of U.S. accounting experience, GAAP expertise, and proficiency reconciling payroll from Gusto/ADP/Paychex.

Qualifications

• Active QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification with advanced, hands-on experience.
• 3+ years of direct accounting experience for U.S.-based businesses.
• GAAP-compliant financial statements and month-end close experience.
• Experience reconciling payroll reports from Gusto, ADP, or Paychex.
• Fluent written and spoken English; ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to automate routine processes.

Responsibilities

• Categorize transactions and reconcile bank, credit card, loan, and clearing accounts monthly.
• Own the full close process for each client and ensure timely, accurate delivery.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Build and refine charts of accounts, classes, locations, and product/service setups; create custom reports in QBO.
• Reconcile monthly provider reports (Gusto, ADP, Paychex) to QBO, including tips and payroll.
• Draft clear SOPs and identify manual tasks to automate.
