Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a Principal Software Engineer – Python/AWS to build and operate AWS serverless infrastructure behind products used by millions. You will drive cloud-native architecture, infrastructure as code, and API design, shaping how the team builds on AWS.

Expect hands-on work with Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway, and container orchestration. 10+ years of experience and strong English required; remote work from anywhere with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with Python.
• Deep hands-on AWS Serverless experience (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• PostgreSQL and DynamoDB proficiency.
• Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS experience.
• Infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement services on AWS serverless infrastructure.
• Own features end to end from design through deployment.
• Containerize and orchestrate with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Design data models across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Design APIs for web and mobile applications.
