Job summary

BairesDev is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer – Python to build scalable backend services for high-traffic products. This 100% remote role offers hands-on architecture influence and end-to-end ownership from design through deployment.

You will work on AWS serverless, microservices, and data systems using PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, partnering with teams across the globe to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong Python expertise.
• Experience with AWS Serverless and modern data stores (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services on AWS serverless infrastructure.
• Own complete features end to end, from design through deployment.
• Design microservices and event-driven systems that scale reliably.
• Containerize and orchestrate services using Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Design data models across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Design APIs consumed by web and mobile applications.
