Bluelight is seeking an experienced software engineer (backend-focused) to join our rapidly growing team. You will develop high-quality backend services and scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS, with a strong emphasis on security, multi-tenant architecture, and database design.

You will collaborate on challenging projects, contribute to frontend efforts when needed, and participate in an environment that values continuous learning and professional development.

Formación

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations.
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices including integration tests against real databases and fault-injection testing.
• Experience working with AI coding assistants as part of daily development.
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills.
• Solid understanding of full stack development.
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.

• Experience in compliance-sensitive or audit-heavy domains (e.g., fintech, telecom/TCPA compliance).

Responsabilidades

• Develop high-quality backend services and APIs.
• Build low-latency API services in AWS and scalable RESTful APIs.
