Job summary

Jobgether SRL is partnering to recruit a Medical Insurance Credentialing Specialist based in Mexico. The role focuses on provider enrollment, credentialing, and medical billing operations in a fully remote healthcare environment.

You will collaborate with payers, providers, and internal teams to ensure accurate documentation, timely claims, and compliant processes, supporting network participation and revenue integrity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in medical credentialing or medical billing, preferably with multiple payers.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care credentialing and reimbursement processes.
• Familiarity with payer portals and EHR or medical billing software.
• Understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems and modifiers.
• Certification in medical billing/coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit credentialing applications for new providers across multiple insurance carriers.
• Manage provider re-credentialing within required timelines to prevent lapses.
• Maintain accurate provider information in credentialing databases and payer portals.
• Gather documentation from providers and ensure completeness of licensing and signatures.
• Review and submit medical claims using EHR/billing systems with correct CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS codes.
