BairesDev is hiring a Lead AI Engineer (Python) to steer architecture and production AI systems in a fully remote role. You will design scalable retrieval pipelines, build robust APIs, and mentor a world-class engineering team across time zones.

We seek 5+ years in software/AI, deep hands-on with RAG, vector stores, FastAPI, and MLOps. Fluent English and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in our global, 100% remote environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or AI Engineering.
• Proven expertise in building and optimizing RAG systems, including vector stores, retrieval strategies and embedding pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in Python and developing asynchronous APIs using FastAPI, Pydantic and async SQLAlchemy.
• Hands-on experience deploying LLM APIs in production and implementing MLOps practices such as model registry and observability.
• Experience in mentoring and stakeholder alignment.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and development of scalable AI systems and data retrieval pipelines.
• Build robust APIs to expose AI capabilities to downstream enterprise applications.
• Establish best practices for deploying, monitoring, and maintaining intelligent services in production environments.
• Mentor engineering team members and align technical strategies with business objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust architectural designs.
