Geeks On Site is seeking a Google Business Profile (GBP) Specialist to support the management, optimization, and expansion of our local search presence across the United States. The ideal candidate will verify and optimize dozens of profiles, improve visibility, and ensure compliance with Google's guidelines.

This fractional, remote role focuses on optimizing profiles nationwide, with potential to support additional company brands. Strong GBP experience and local SEO expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing and optimizing Google Business Profiles.
• Experience with multiple locations or service-area profiles.
• Strong local SEO knowledge and Maps ranking factors.
• Experience with GBP verification, suspensions, and reinstatement.
• Familiarity with service-area guidelines for multi-location orgs.
• Ability to analyze GBP data and translate into recommendations.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple profiles.
• Ability to work independently and communicate progress clearly.

Responsibilities

• Audit existing GBP use and identify optimization opportunities.
• Optimize profiles: descriptions, categories, services, hours, areas.
• Create, verify, and optimize new eligible profiles.
• Resolve profile issues: duplicates, verifications, suspensions.
• Develop local SEO strategies to improve Maps presence.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Marketing to align GBP efforts with goals.
• Stay updated on Google's policies and local search best practices.
• Support GBP management for additional brand profiles as needed.
