Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Product Compliance Counsel based in Mexico for a fully remote role. You will review product specifications, marketing materials, and AI-enabled features to ensure EU and US regulatory compliance, while partnering with Product, Marketing, and tech teams.

The role focuses on consumer protection, digital platform rules, and sanctions, with responsibilities including regulatory monitoring and training across an international, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Law or an equivalent legal qualification.
• Knowledge of consumer protection legislation in the EU and the United States.
• Understanding of marketing and advertising compliance requirements in the EU and US.
• Familiarity with European and US digital legislation and AI governance.
• Knowledge of Apple App Store and Google Play guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Russian (minimum B2).
• Strong analytical and research capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, solution-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Review product specifications for websites and apps to ensure legal compliance and platform policies.
• Review advertising materials and marketing communications for regulatory compliance.
• Monitor regulatory developments across EU and US and communicate updates.
• Track sanctions-related regulatory developments and help implement internal policies.
• Contribute to compliance training programs and internal guidance materials.
• Review AI-enabled products for regulatory compliance and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and other teams to embed compliance in development.
