Placements24 is seeking an experienced Gestor de Siniestros to join a fully remote team. You will manage the claims process for general insurance, investigate claims, assess damages, negotiate settlements, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field.
• 3+ years in claims adjusting or management within general insurance.
• Solid understanding of insurance policies, legal principles, and claims procedures.
• Excellent investigation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with empathy and professionalism.
• Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and investigate insurance claims from policyholders.
• Determine coverage eligibility based on policy terms and conditions.
• Assess damages and liabilities through thorough investigation and documentation.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and third parties in a fair and timely manner.
• Manage a caseload of claims efficiently, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
• Communicate effectively with claimants, policyholders, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant insurance laws and regulations.
• Identify potential fraud and escalate suspicious claims per protocol.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claim activities and decisions.
