Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an Engineering Manager, Automation Intelligence based in Mexico. You lead the development of an intelligence platform to distinguish legitimate AI agents and automated traffic from bots, guiding beta through GA and commercial launch.

You will manage a small team of senior engineers, drive API design and AI-native development, and collaborate with leadership to shape product strategy and engineering practices in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• At least three years of engineering management experience.
• Eight or more years of software engineering experience.
• Experience in bot detection, web security, or high-volume API services.
• Hands-on AI coding experience with AI agents and automated reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering roadmap from beta to general availability and commercial launch.
• Define service reliability targets, latency and SLOs.
• Establish a continuous detection quality framework with test datasets and monitoring.
• Guide detection capabilities for AI agents, classification systems, and APIs.
• Lead and grow a small team of senior engineers; manage recruitment as needed.
• Promote API-first design with OpenAPI specs, docs, and SDKs.
