Job summary

Ottimate is seeking a Data Services & EDI Specialist to ensure accuracy, reliability, and seamless data flow across client environments. This role manages system configuration, dimension mapping, payment profiles, item validation, and the EDI connections that enable invoices to move automatically between clients and vendor systems.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of configuration, integration engineering, and client operations, coordinating across multiple vendor connections

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a data operations, technical implementation, ERP administration, or fintech support role.
• 2-3 years of hands-on EDI connection experience, or equivalent experience in an integration-focused role.
• Familiarity with EDI standards (ANSI X12) and transaction sets (e.g., 810 invoice).
• Hands-on experience with data mapping, bulk data management, or system configuration in a SaaS or financial operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer backend dimensions (GL codes, departments, projects) to ensure invoice data is coded accurately.
• Setup and maintain electronic payment profiles (ACH and other electronic methods) securely.
• Perform Item Validation mapping for accurate item recognition and processing.
• Set up, test, and maintain EDI connections between Ottimate, clients, and vendor partners.
• Map data fields between systems so invoices/credits translate correctly between formats.
• Monitor EDI transmissions daily and resolve failed or rejected transactions.
