A leading global technology company is seeking a Mid-Senior level Electronic Data Interchange Developer in Mexico, Jalisco. The ideal candidate will have a BS degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 3 years in EDI systems and 2-4 years working with IBM B2Bi / Sterling Integrator. Responsibilities include creating workflows and maintaining E-Commerce transaction systems. Competitive salary and full-time employment offered.

Qualifications

Education/Training: BS degree or equivalent experience required.

Other: Sufficient formal and/or informal training experience in Sterling B2Bi System administration, maintenance, configuration and programming. Training in BPML design, data translation and transformation mapping preferred.

Introductory level in creating Business workflows using Business Process Modeling Language (BMPL) within Sterling B2Bi versions 6.2 for inbound, outbound and audit tracking E-Commerce transactions.

Intermediate to Expert level in creating translation objects (maps) using Sterling Integrator Map Editor to include EDI to XML; EDI to Application File; Application File to Application File and EDI to/from Database.

Experience with Standard E-Commerce transactions such as Purchase Orders, Invoices, Ship Notices, Order Catalogs, Lock Box and/or Remittance Advice.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Specific knowledge of EDI, E-Commerce and Business-to-Business solutions utilizing IBM Business to Business Integrator (Sterling Integrator) software.
• Minimum 3 years experience working on an EDI System
• 2 – 4 years working experience on IBM B2Bi / Sterling Integrator

Working technical understanding of the Business Process Modeling Language - BPML and XML.

Knowledge of database concepts and SQL – ability to write Select/Insert/Update statements.

Knowledge of SFTP, AS2 and HTTP/HTTPS protocols and configuration AS2 Profiles within B2Bi.

Working knowledge of Sterling Integrator Mapper, experience coding Standard Rules, Extended Rules and passing data to and from a Business Process.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to quickly learn new processes, and absorb and retain information.

Proficiency in using MS Word and Excel.

Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work well with many different disciplines and cross functional teams.

Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Ability to set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines.

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

High level of analytical and problem-solving abilities.
