Softgic S. is seeking a hands-on EDI engineer to enhance existing EDI infrastructure, implement new integrations, and support trading partner connectivity.

The role focuses on mapping, testing, debugging, and automating EDI workflows using Microsoft/.NET technologies, SQL Server, and REST APIs, with collaboration across teams.

You will mentor juniors, participate in Agile ceremonies, and document technical solutions.

Formación

• 6–10 years of professional experience in EDI development, integration, and support.
• Hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting EDI maps and interfaces.
• Strong understanding of ANSI X12 and/or EDIFACT standards.
• Experience with AS2 and FTP/SFTP transports.
• Experience with enterprise EDI platforms (PrismHR Data Bridge, IBM Sterling Integrator, Cleo).
• Experience working with trading partner integrations.
• Microsoft development techs (C#, ASP.NET/.NET Core, MVC) and SQL Server.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and modern integrations.
• Understanding of microservices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Advanced English (B2+/C1) for international collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze, design, and develop enhancements and extensions for EDI application interfaces and maps.
• Learn, document, and support existing EDI file structures, workflows, mappings, and integration points.
• Build and maintain new EDI files, maps, and integrations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external trading partners to gather requirements and implement EDI solutions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing EDI feeds, ensuring data accuracy and timely transmission.
• Perform EDI testing and identify mapping, configuration, and data discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot failed transactions and implement corrective actions.
• Develop tools and scripts to automate EDI configuration and maintenance.
• Work with APIs and modern integration architectures where applicable.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
